# Active Campaign

## Step-by-step guide to connecting your Active Campaign account and syncing campaign data seamlessly.

### **Authorize Connection to Active Campaign**

To connect your Active Campaign account, you'll need to provide your API credentials:

Navigate to Data Integration -\> Connectors

1. Click on "Connect A new platform"

2. Select Active Campaign

1. Enter the following required credentials: 
     - **Subdomain**: Your Active Campaign subdomain
     - **API Key**: Your Active Campaign API key

#### **How can I get my Subdomain and Static Key?**

1. In your **ActiveCampaign** account, click on **Settings** on the left side of the navigation menu and select **Developer**.
2. Copy your **API URL** and **Key**.
3. **Subdomain**: Name of your subdomain from the **API URL**, e.g. example (from https://example.api-us1.com).
4. **Api Token**: API key generated by ActiveCampaign.

Upon successful connection of your Active Campaign account, you will be presented with a dashboard displaying your connected account data. This dashboard will also feature buttons for managing your connection:

- **Test Connection**: This button initiates a test to verify the connectivity between the platform and your Active Campaign account.
- **Delete Connection**: This button severs the link between the platform and your Active Campaign account, removing the account and its data from the dashboard.

### **Extracted Data**

These are the extracted data fields from Active Campaign:

| **Data Field** | **Extracted Data Source** | **Explanation** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| date | cdate | The date when an email campaign was created/sent |
| campaign\_name | name | The name of the email campaign |
| campaign\_type | type | The type of campaign (regular, autoresponder, etc.) |
| emails\_sent | send\_amt | The number of emails sent in each campaign |

### **Date Range and Data Freshness**

- **Date Range**: 3 years
- **Data Freshness**: Data is updated weekly.
- **Data Granularity**: Data is provided at a weekly level.

### **Data Validation**

The validation is done over the **emails\_sent** metric.
