To connect your Shopify store, you'll need to provide your store information and API credentials:
Navigate to Data Integration -> Connectors
- Click on "Connect A new platform"
- Select Shopify
- Enter the following required credentials:
- Subdomain: Your Shopify store subdomain (e.g., if your store URL is "mystore.myshopify.com", enter "mystore")
- Access Token: Your Shopify API access token
How to Generate API Credentials in Shopify
How can I get my access token?
- In your Shopify account, navigate to the Settings at the bottom left of your screen.
- Select Apps and sales channels and click on Develop apps for your store. Follow the prompts to allow custom app development.
- Click on Create an app and name your app (you can call it Cassandra).
- Continue with configuring admin API scopes.
- Select the following permissions to grant to Cassandra: read_customers, read_discounts, read_draft_orders, read_fulfillments, read_inventory, read_locations, read_marketing_events, read_order_edits, read_orders, read_product_feeds, read_products, read_product_listings, read_shipping, read_third_party_fulfillment_orders, read_custom_fulfillment_services, read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders.
- Go back to the Overview tab and click on Install app. Copy your API Admin Access Token under the API credentials tab.
Please keep in mind that you can reveal the token only once.
Upon successful connection of your Shopify store, you will be presented with a dashboard displaying your connected store data. This dashboard will also feature buttons for managing your connection:
- Test Connection: This button initiates a test to verify the connectivity between the platform and your Shopify store.
- Delete Connection: This button severs the link between the platform and your Shopify store, removing the store and its data from the dashboard.
